PEOPLE. PURPOSE. PROGRESS.

Building the future of human-centered entrepreneurship.

The future of innovation should be defined not simply by what technology can do, but by what people can achieve with it.

OAIX is advancing a new model of entrepreneurship—empowering people to turn experience, knowledge, and ideas into sustainable ventures that solve meaningful problems.

01OUR CONVICTION

The future belongs to people empowered by technology.

AI is changing who can build, what can be created, and how quickly ideas become reality.

But technology alone does not create meaningful progress. People do.

Experienced professionals bring knowledge and a deep understanding of real problems. When that experience meets the right technology, education, mentorship, and community, extraordinary things become possible.

Technology should amplify human opportunity—not amplify whoever has the most automation.
THE OAIX PHILOSOPHY

02OUR MISSION IN ACTION

A different kind of return.

We believe the most meaningful measure of progress is the opportunity it creates for people.

Empower entrepreneurs

Practical education, mentorship, and community support to help founders build sustainable companies.

Expand human opportunity

Entrepreneurial pathways for experienced professionals, including people transitioning from traditional employment.

Advance responsible innovation

A human-centered application of AI to meaningful challenges in the world around us.

Build collaborative ecosystems

Connecting founders, educators, investors, companies, and institutions around shared opportunity.

03PROOF IN ACTION

OREGON AI ACCELERATOR

Where human-centered entrepreneurship becomes reality.

The Oregon AI Accelerator demonstrates what can happen when experienced founders, practical support, and a generous community come together.

Hosted through Propel PSU at Portland State University, with Google as corporate sponsor, the accelerator is already building a community where founders return to mentor and collaborate with the people who follow.

04OUR ORIGINS

Built in Oregon.
Inspired by human potential.

A belief becomes a program.
A program becomes a community.
A community creates what comes next.

Every institution starts with an idea. Ours starts with people.

Drawing on decades of entrepreneurial experience, the founder developed an adaptive, founder-centered methodology. That work helped establish the Oregon AI Accelerator, bringing together people who believed that experience and emerging technology could open new paths to entrepreneurship.

Google funded the inaugural pilot, and the PSU Foundation provided fiscal sponsorship and administration. Google returned with a $100,000 sponsorship for Cohort 2, hosted through Propel PSU at Portland State University.

As founders began returning to support the next cohort, a larger vision took shape: an independent, enduring institution that can carry this spirit of collaboration beyond Oregon and create opportunity for more people.

OAIX Foundation is a proposed independent nonprofit in development. The accelerator continues as an existing program hosted through Propel PSU.

05THE FOUNDER FLYWHEEL

Success should create more opportunity.

The best outcomes don’t end with one founder. Knowledge, relationships, mentorship, and resources can move forward to the next generation.
